terms of service
richards.foo is a personal site and a set of free research tools. using it means you agree to the terms below. they are short on purpose.
what this is
richards.foo is the portfolio of tyler richards plus a handful of in-house instruments: the fingerprint knowledge base, the bot-detector intel feed, and the stealth benchmark. everything here is provided for research, education, and reference.
acceptable use
use the site and its tools lawfully. do not attempt to break, overload, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others. do not use anything published here to attack systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test. the security content is for defenders and authorized testing, not for abuse.
the data and tools
the readouts (detector analysis, benchmark results, catalog entries) are generated by automated tooling and reflect a point in time. they can be wrong, stale, or incomplete. treat them as a starting point, not gospel, and verify anything you act on. the underlying analyzers are open source under their own licenses, which govern reuse of the code.
no warranty
the site and everything on it are provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. there is no promise of accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
limit of liability
to the fullest extent the law allows, tyler richards is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, its tools, or its data. you use them at your own risk.
intellectual property
the writing, design, and original code are the work of tyler richards. you are welcome to read, learn, link, and quote with attribution. wholesale copying of the site is not. tools released under an open-source license follow that license.
changes and contact
these terms can change; the date at the top reflects the latest version. questions go to tyler@tyler-richards.com. the privacy policy explains how data is handled.
